RIP JHMD

It's taken him way too long to stand up and give it back to them.

He should an Oval Office Address ASAP saying he's reintroducing the jobs bill the House refused to vote on for the past two years and they can blame House Republicans for over 1,000,000 Americans being needlessly out of work.

It's the right thing to do for the country and the right thing to do politically.

exactly. They've been giving him the :fu: for 5 goddamned years.

It's funny what happens to bipartisan cooperation when you ram through a poorly-reasoned, undesired health care overhaul through reconciliation, and the American people vote your Congress out b/c of it. But why would you guys ever see Obama as being responsible for the consequences of any of his own actions. A little late to start that now, isn't it?

Obamacare was bipartisan legislation without bipartisan support.

It's funny what happens to bipartisan cooperation when you ram through a poorly-reasoned, undesired health care overhaul through reconciliation, and the American people reward you with a second term and maintain your party's majority in the senior legislative body. But why would you guys ever see Obama as being responsible for the consequences of any of his own actions. A little late to start that now, isn't it?

Fixed.

So the guy ran initially on wanting to overhaul healthcare and the American people elected him and he did it. After all the GOP Chicken Littles said it would be the end of humanity and cause Chick-Fil-A to go out of business, Americans re-elected him. Yeah, that sounds like it was "rammed."

Congress is only in GOP hands because of gerrymandering. That's the way the game is played, but spare us the will of the American people dialogue.

Posted as vacancy on usajobs.gov: The Department of State is pleased to announce an Executive vacancy with respect to the United Nations. Competitive candidates will be fluent liars, willing to take the thankless task of dishonestly covering for several different bosses mistakes and willing to provide politically expedient, if not always truthful, edits to intelligence talking points well outside of subject matter expertise. May be called upon to give noncredible public relations coverage in other areas at a moment's notice. Interested candidates please apply with your applicable Department head.

Scooter Libby says hello.

Is the GOP incapable of ever learning anything?!? Bubba got caught with his dick in some fat chick's mouth, the GOP went nuts, and got clobbered in the 1998 midterms. America even got a refresher course on that over the last two years when Newt (who was calling for impeachment during the 6th year of his own affair) ran for President and briefly led the wingnut primary. The same guy the GOP stripped of his leadership position because of his erratic behavior during his loopy pursuit of the great white redneck whale.

Issa's another hapless a-hole and the country doesn't trust today's GOP to let them conduct nonstop partisan witch hunts. Barry's finally gone kamikaze Bullworth and will let the chips fall where they may. He basically told the GOP to go fuck themselves. Hillary's a huge winner here because with Rice back in the public spotlight she'll take the heat on Benghazi which will have dissipated by 2016.

Huge upside for Obama if he pursues popular centrist legislation while the House keeps scandal hunting. Downside is that inflaming the Tea Party could flip the Senate in 2014 since the Dems have more seats to defend. No way the GOP gets to a 60 vote veto proof majority, so the gridlock status quo is maintained. Sucks for the country, but Barry just publicly bitch slapped Fox and the Tea Party and there's not much they can do about it.

The Tea Party will continue to be the reason the GOP doesn't take over the Senate.

Jay carney trying to explain Susan Rices morning show lies to the press. Really struggling.

Obama: "oh by the way. I nominated Susan Rice for the national security advisor"

Carney: "son of a bit#€!"

If there is anything to find as Issa wastes your money, he just called your bluff.

And replaces her with a semi-attractive redhead. So smart.

Fox News :willynilly:

I don't see how this is dominating anything. She lied for him. He rewarded her. He timed it to try and increase the uproar so that he could denounce the uproar further. It really isn't that difficult. His strategy isnt to address the Issues (IRs, DOJ especially). He has chosen to address the GOP rather than the issues his admin os having.

She might be a fine advisor. Who knows. Just because someone lied doesn't make them incompetent. Obama is a very smart politician but I wouldn't define that as dominating. Instead I see him trying to survive.
