Triad Summer league starts 7/8

What's weird to me is that whenever you get one or two or maybe three posters to agree with you, you go all fanbase on me - as if you somehow represent a collective, and my experience on here with you is that you rep nobody. I'll be clear, I post for me. I'm not starting a movement nor do I post as voice to any group or collective. To think so is delusional and I can only think you are delusional quite frequently.

I'm reminded of the post 6 months ago where you essentially told me to stop posting because I don't represent anybody nor do I agree with the majority on something (probably Bzd). Coming from a supposed edukator (and I use the socialist K), I found that astounding, pathetic, and un-self-reflective. Don't disagree with the majority. This is America damnit. Thankfully, you've backed off that bullshit though without admitting the stupidity of it. But I do keep that in a small piece of my brain when I read your posts. Your full of shit, essentially, and I keep that in mind.

Usually when you're beaten on here you just clam up and disappear. I assume that is what you have done again.

Don't have a dog in this fight but what the hell is a "Socialist K"? I know of the Nazi K and the KKK K and even the Pan Afrika K, but not the Socialist K.

Vytas was definitely a stretch 4, especially after his injuries. That's not to say he and Cav are good comps.

I had blocked that game out of my memory. Please tell me I misremember that Devin Thomas took about a 15 foot fadeaway off a timeout.

Yeah I am not sure how this is in much question. He spent a fair amount of time outside the lane because Big E could be down right dominant 1-on-1 but sometimes struggled in a more clogged lane. The guy had the body and attitude to be a traditional 4 though and that is something Cav will never have. Cav is, at best, a stretch 4 and he really struggled last year because he had to play some 5. I will say this for him, he did tend to fight down there no matter how overmatched he may have been. An improved shot and some confidence and he could develop into a nice offensive player. He will always struggle defensively IMO.

I guess my definition of a stretch 4 doesn't include a traditional 4 who drifts out because of the lineup. Calling Vytas a stretch 4 is like calling Cav a PF/C because both aren't what they'd ideally be doing.

Jaybone is saying Cav, ideally, can become somewhat similar to how Vytus played WHEN he was a stretch 4. He never claimed it was the ideal role for Vytus, he claimed it was reality and it was. He was a stretch 4 later in his career. And Cav is currently a 4/5 on this team if Green is donezo for another season, it is what it is. Some people are also hoping he develops into a stretch 4 which would both require his improvement as a player and him not being the backup C.

The Championship game did go into OT where Devin Thomas hit a game-winning layup.

Moto's last second shot bounced around two or three times before it didn't fall.

If that's what Jaybone was saying there are still better examples to use.

You are certainly correct about that.

Good to hear Moto played well. I did not like his shot selection from outside last year but it is fun to watch him play the game. I do not know exactly why but it was just enjoyable to watch him play even when he was making boneheaded mistakes. I kind of feel the same way about Rountree. I had a buddy over last year and he started to make fun of how Rountree moved around between plays because of how awkward he looked and then he saw him running in game action and said "How the hell is that the same player?"

Kid who looked like a 10 grader at Mt. Tabor went off in the last 2 minutes of championship game to overcome a 12 point deficit. Other team had to put Holcomb Faye and Walt Baxley both on the kid. If they had gotten him the ball on the last possesion they would have won. Absolutely fascinating stuff.

Pretty sure that was Pete Maravich.

The game where Devin took the last shot? CJ passed the ball even before that.

You're right. CJ drove the ball to the right of the basket instead of attacking the rim. Threw the ball out of bounds on the baseline. We got a break on the call and had 2 seconds left on clock. Inbounds pass for a prayer from Devin.

Is this a Mia culpa? An apology? Me thinks not.

Btw I'm holding onto the sky is blue. If you are going to try and counter everything I post you are going to have to go w a different color.

You lost this argument. You should have checked how many 3s vitas took his last two years compared to the minutes he played before arguing he wasn't a stretch 4 those years. Not your typical error.

Even the people who "agree" with you say it's a poor comparison. Vytas was a different player in different circumstances.

As someone explained - a 4 that takes 3s is a stretch 4 period. I never compared players just that a 6'9" guy who takes 3s is a stretch 4 and unless you are Kevin durant NOT a combo forward as Rj laughably has argued. That's it. That's the point.

As resident wack job pitbull you ran your leash in some random direction based on the fact that you could pull a piece of the argument and run it out in a different direction basically to fill space I your day. I filled too much space in my day yesterday on this ridiculousness. Not doing it today. If I procrastinate it will be something else.
