2013 GRAND SLAM CONTEST - cville wins PGA; NFDeac wins Grand Slam!

At the 5:40pm ET mark in broadcast (according to my DVR), they cut away from the golf to show plaques on the "Hill of Fame". Did anyone else see the shot of the plaque that said "Jack Nicklaus, Winner of 19 Major Championships"? What's that about?

Much more so actually. But at least they come by it honestly and aren't using it as an excuse like our AD is. They historically don't like facial hair either. This is also why they don't air their dirty suspension laundry, well, except in Vijay's case (actually he outed himself first). They don't like to admit the bad behavior or rule breaking of their players. They're like an old money rich family that doesn't recognize any of their problems.

It's just Dufner. That's the way he always is. He's expressionless, but in a way that always makes you nervous for him. He's a bit of a character. He's a bit dumpy with unkempt, long hair, invented Dufnering and freely admits he outkicked his coverage with his wife. I'm rooting for him.

Some really deserving guys at the top. Furyk has contended in majors many times off and on over the years and had that disastrous last few holes at Olympic last year. Stenson has been the hottest golfer on the planet over the last month. Dufner, who blew the PGA 2 years ago but has been very good this last couple of years. And who wouldn't shed a tear along with Stricker if he were to win? Also interesting to see Rory get back in the mix, though I think he's too far back given the amount of chalk in front of him. I don't think the course is going to surrender a 63-64 today, and the winner will come from the last 3 groups. Most likely 1 of Furyk, Dufner or Stensen.

Things guaranteed to happen on the backside : Furyk shoots roughly even, Dufner misses at least two putts in side eight feet, Dufner chokes, Furyk wins.

Other than that anything could happen.
 
Lol well that didn't take too long for him to get number one inside eight feet. Almost didn't take long to get two.
 
Dufner is just smoking his irons. if that putting stroke on the short ones holds up, he'll win. And I wouldn't exactly call that second putt on 10 a stroke. More like a jab.
 
Duf is pretty jabby on the greens.

Adam just chili dipped his chances.

And Stenson is going around fine but not making enough putts to win unless Dufner and Furyk back up. Go Duf!
 
Worst crowd I've ever seen at a major. The yelling is out of control. "Mashed Potatoes" "Baba Booey" that shit has to stop. They need to kick those "men" out.

I bet that's what Furyk was looking at. Worse than Bethpage.
