Painful to watch... They, obviously, have a job to do but those reporters are pushing the envelope with some of their questions. Guess they realize they can ask just about anything since he's made it clear he's going to answer everything. Good thing I didn't choose that as a career - just couldn't put someone through the ringer like that.

The media is grilling him because he made them look stupid. Days ago some of these guys were probably supporting him and writing the whole thing off to a hacker. But they'll all kiss and make up. You actually have to bang hookers to resign in New York.

Stewart took it relatively easy on Weiner, but for good reason. He had a segment about John Edwards that they had probably put together over the weekend.

Tonight Stewart did a mock press conference apologizing for being too lazy to write new jokes after Weiner's press conference and sticking with the Edwards/Palin material.

It's like he learned absolutely nothing from Chris Lee and Brett Favre. You'd think after each of those, Weiner would say to himself, "I should stop sending pictures of myself to random women on the internet".

Nice bit from Kristen Schaal about how penis texting doesn't really help seal the deal.
