Jason Terry:

Usually, I'd agree w/ you, but in a series against Lebron, I'm wondering if the Big Man is indeed involved

why do people care so much when people thank god?

No idea. They're generally called "God-given abilities" but when someone actually thanks God, they get criticized.

Marqueezzzzz has an obsession with anything God-related/NOOOOOOOOO

Didn't hear the post-game, but whatever, JET stepped up, so I BELIEVE

At least he was funny about it by adding "at a very high level" to the end

I wish he would have thanked god for his terrible game 1 performance. Give god the glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because they might as well thank Zeus.

so what. if thats what they believe in and feel like its appropriate who cares? its not he is shoving religious mumbo jumbo down anyone's throat.

just because you disagree with his opinion doesn't mean he shouldn't express it

He has the ability to express it. I have the ability to ridicule him for it.

Jason Terry is getting laid right now because of what god did for him while you complain about god and get stuck posting on a message board. Think about it. God's owning you right now

Jason Terry gets kudos for putting up 20 points and giving up 30. His horrific defense tonight and in the other games does not give him an excuse. I like him, but he is a big reason why the Mavs haven't won the series.

Well it sort of implies that god dislikes the opponent, and no one thanks god when they have a shitty game.

I understand where you're coming from, but that's not how I see it. I have no qualms with someone thanking God for the ability to perform, to do what he's supposed to do and do it well. On the other hand, I would have a problem with someone thanking God for DWade's injury or something like that.

I agree, too, that as a believer he should thank God the same amount regardless of the outcome of the game.

God is responsible in a way, because he only made one Michael Jordan, and that is becoming clearer by the game.
