Bro we used to go watch Strike at the Wind on the reg. I like this quote, it's as if they were talking about me.

"The color of his skin is of a whitish yellow sort, with an admixture of copper—such a skin as, for the nature of its components, is in color indescribable, there being no negro blood in it except that of a far remote generation of mulatto, and the Indian still apparent."

Seems about right.

There are plenty of folks that believe he's still alive, so maybe we can ask him.

I think he was last spotted hanging out in Raft Swamp.

Speaking of Raft Swamp, that reminds me of two kids in my kindergarden class from there. They were named Miko and Rico and were cousins. I'm pretty sure Rico got stabbed (pronounced "stahbed)" and Miko is in jail. Good times.

Did they frequently used the words "diddy" and "pawpa" in conversation? Sometimes "diddy-pawpa"?

I installed the app and cruise wikipedia all the time. Always start with the page of the day. Stayed up way too late many nights just clicking on random articles and seeing where things take me.

I still call people paw-diddy and paw-diddy-cuz all the time. Gotta rep the hood. The Lumbee dialect has to be the most fascinating thing that no one knows about unless they've lived there. It's just so awesome.

I haven't used that dialect in a while, but I think I still got it. My Driver's Ed teacher, Walt Locklear, had a great accent. He kept a big bag of Atomic Fireballs in the glove box, and would daily ask if "you want a hot bawl?"

You gotta nail the long and short I sounds. Short I = EE and Long I = OI. EEN the year NOINETEEN NOINTYNOINE MOI PREENCESS Annabel OxenDOINE gradiated from Purnell Swett HOIGH School.
