Julius Randle is good at basketball.

He reminds me of a bit more mobile Wayman Tisdale.

With his size, motor and skill set it's hard to imagining anyone containing him in college.

I've only seen Wiggins twice. He's going to have be outrageous to stay #1.

This draft is going to be insane. Williams, randle, Parker, Exum, Smart (probably cost himself $20M by going back to school) are a helluva of a Top 5. Don't sleep on Joel Embiid or Aaron Gordon.

My daughter is a freshman at UK…she has Julius in her English class. She says he is a really funny, cool guy. Oh…and good at basketball.

No chance Embiid isn't top 5. NBA teams are going to fall over themselves for a 7 footer who moves as fluidly as he does.

Shit. I'd take Parker over Wiggins in the draft every time.

My concern with Parker right now is can he guard his position at the NBA level. Perry Ellis was just working him like a speed bag in the post.

I think post defense may be a weakness for him, but he appears to have the skill and athleticism to play decent man-man and switch on multiple positions.

His position in the NBA is SF. K has him playing 4/5.

He's quicker than Melo. Parker is quicker than fast.

He also passed more tonight than Melo has in the past year or two combined.

Melo got fat, but when he was in college, he moved an awful lot like Jabari Parker. Who is going to murder us this year, btw. Imagine Travis guarding him...

All of these kids are studs. While time always tells, this is the best draft class on paper thus far in my lifetime.

mdmh is right, too. Gary Harris is a stud. Love me some MSU this year.

Randle needs to lose the constipated/cry baby look after every play that ends non-favorably towards him. Outside of that, he's a beast.

I think they call that the Duncan face

Yup, I call it the Allen Iverson face.....watching it day in and day out will make you not like a player. And, if you have a crop of studs this season like it appears there are in this draft, this could be the difference between going No.1 or No. 4.....

If he gets a good coach in the NBA, it's likely to leave him. Thus far he's had no accountability and won't get any from Calipari.

Ah, sets up my favorite Wayman Tisdale story. 1984 NCAA tourney #2 Oklahoma vs #10 Dayton. When Dayton's star 6'4", Roosevelt Chapman, was asked about his pending match up with 6'9", Wayman Tisdale, Chapman's response was "We will see who the real all American is." Chapman poured in 41 and the Flyers upset the Sooners 89-85. I loved basketball that year - both Wake and Dayton were in the Elite 8. I had a dream - Georgetown and Houston crushed my dream. The fact that Dayton made the elite 8 basically playing only 6 guys and the biggest one was 6'7" still amazes me. After Oklahoma they knocked off Washington who had 2 German 7 footers in Christian Welp and Detlef Schrempf.
