This is also Adrian's first Premiere League start. I'm sure he's got some nerves. Agreed that should have been saved though.
 
That wasn't a penalty, but it wasn't a dive either. I don't know what Noble was getting so pissy about? He made a good, fair shoulder to shoulder challenge there and knocked Januzaj off the ball.

And that should be a booking on Collins by stopping the punt like that. It is only a Law of the Game, Mr. Referee...
 
Holy shit what a dive by Januzaj. Absolutely lol shameful. I thought he clowned Collins, and I guess he thought he was going to do so too.

He was clearly anticipating a leg sweep and deciding to jump/dive instead, but there was no need to raise his legs and collapse like that when just jumping over the anticipated leg sweep would have accomplished the same thing.

Not that Tomkins has been excellent, but I think he has been one of y'all's better players in that half. ...but that isn't saying much.

I don't think anybody on our side of the ball played well at all. Maybe Noble--he did very will breaking up play in the middle of the field.

McCartney let Valencia cross psst him several times. Demel was overwhelmed with Adnan and Rooney combining on his side (especially when y'all are on the break -- Diame getting forward leaves that left side badly exposed).
 
Brilliant player, my favorite United man besides Kagawa, but it's almost as though he's been coached to go down easily.
