True here. Be very interesting to see who the replacement is. I have lost a lot of confidence in Wellman. He seems to have made a good hire in Clawson. But he IS the guy that hired Bzzzz...and kept him...
 
Definitely. I don't normally check the board on the weekends, but I've found myself checking in multiple times over the past few days with a glimmer of hope. Only to be disappointed each time, but this is the most excited i've been about Wake basketball in years.
 
So maybe they spent today writing Bz's letter of resignation and preparing how to handle the team and media. Tomorrow. Yes, I will check back tomorrow. Here's to a brighter tomorrow.
 
No I haven't yet but as soon as the season ends I will be hoping and praying for it.
 
All of you just want to return to the days of two and done. I'm going to put on a Carolina sweatshirt when Bzz is fired. I'll wear it to the Quad.
 
i have the espn for android app. sends me updates on teams i follow. Every time that little E pops up in the notification bar, I hope I'll find out Buzz is gone.
 
I don't always look for updates of a bzz firing but when I do I am constantly disappointed.
 
Just think, someone is going to get to be the person that posts THE thread. The very first official "he gone" thread. The most important thread in the history of Wake Forest internet. And of course there will be like 40 Haas threads that follow within a minute of that first one. Oh, what a glorious day it will be!

I think it would be hilarious if the day the announcement is made, the boards are down. Somehow, it would just seem appropriate.
 
Will this board survive after bzz is gone? After all, the raison d'etre here has always been bzzout.

The question isn't whether people will roll the quad when he's fired; the question is whether I will drive 500 miles to join them.
 
Tis true....looking for "the thread" is exactly why I just came to the boards...
 
It's going to be hilarious when the reports slowly begin to trickle out of the media that he's actually getting 1 more year. I'd pay cash just to see Moonz, while taking a break from analyzing the physical attributes of passersby on the street, whips out his iPhone and reads that Tweet. The "Bzz gets extension" thread will crash this board.

The bigger question will be how to explain it to the wife when I do it. You drove up to Winston to do what? I think if I pick up my oldest son and take him with me, it will be easier to explain away as his first Quad-rolling.
 
I'm rooting for a Friday firing...it will make my trip up to Winston a lot easier to justify.
