only silver lining in all of this.... I've never read Pack Pride. Might need to just stop reading the boards altogether, I honestly hope the team stays away. I think Buzz had them trained well. Hopefully most of the lunatic fringe keeps their negativity limited to this board but I've seen some of the biggest loser lunatics ripping on / arguing with individual players via Twitter. Get a life.

You clearly see that the players liked him but some posters have continued to argue with me via PM saying they didn't. I agree I hope the players realize that Buzz might have made them better people, but another coach can make them better players and take the program to better places, hopefully bringing the fanbase back to a more positive place on the way.

Not a fan at all, but I'm not listening to anyone who doesn't realize Dino's firing had nothing to do with wins and losses

Is there any good reason you are unable to restrain yourself from saying crap like this? Let the players have their time to express how they feel and they will be fine once we make a hire. Normal response to a meaningful change in the life of a 18-22 year old.
 
And even if, based on rumors, you think Dino did something terrible that necessitated him being fired, that in no way justifies the hiring of Jeff [Redacted].

PackPride think that their lack of success in men's basketball since 1990 is because the ACC, John Swofford and the referees that the ACC employs are conspiring against them.

They also think their job is on par with Louisville and Syracuse, while at the same thinking our job is on par with Virginia Tech, Boston College and Clemson.

That says all you need to know about PackPride and I don't think we'll ever come close to approaching their level of delusions.

I know for fact, so stfu. The fans need to move on from talking about buzzz, its not helping our situation. We can argue if its hurting.....but it certainly not helping. We can't walk around and yell and call names of everyone that's doesn't agree with the majority of this board
 
I love it how so many people know for a fact but no one has the balls to say what they know. You would think someone after 4 years would actually say something of substance if there was anything more than college kids being college kids, and how exactly it was dino's fault, but there hasn't been a peep.

Instead we've heard from our people marked in green who we do know actually do know things, that the same shit happened during [Redacted]'s watch.

Exactly, this whole thing is getting so lame. Where are all the athletes that trash their coach after the coach is gone? I'm not interested enough to look for Boston college player quotes, but I doubt they all got in front of the mic and said "thank god!"

Had Wellman and Bzz made it clear that Bzz was "resigning" because he didn't win enough games, because he failed as a coach, we wouldn't have this problem. Had they both taken their dose of humility, and given the fan base time to express how they feel, we wouldn't have this problem. Instead they blamed the negativity of the fan base, they un-rolled the quad, and the beat goes on even though Bzz is gone.

Should skip have been fired too? During my time there our best player used to carry a gun around and our 4th best player used to sell me weed.

At some point a logical person realizes that a 55 year old isn't responsible for the stupid shit college kids do.
