My buddy just called me. Shaka just signed with Marquette for 6 years. Doc Rivers is on the Marquette BOT. He and Shaka and are good friends. Apparently, Doc closed the deal.

Yeah there is a lot of news on twitter, none from a reputable source yet but seems like it may actually happen. Wake fucked again!
 
I can handle Shaka turning down Wake and staying at VCU; if he goes to Marquette I will be sick for a week.

If anyone can do it, it's Shaka. It might make scheduling tricky but it's definitely doable. Just hope Wake wouldn't have to face Marquette in the NCAA.
