LOLOLOLOL. It's like negotiating with a toddler!

What kind of grown ass man needs a "no biting" clause in their contract to protect their potential employer? Suarez is a lunatic.

Apparently Barcelona want an "anti-biting clause" in Suarez's contract. Some things really shouldn't need specifying.

A mouthpiece would be in order. He could only gum the other guy.

Probably immaterial since Liverpool won't transfer him unless they get value, and if Barca is trying to pull that, presumably they're also not going to be making a fair offer.

If he's good enough for Barca/Real to not be put off, then he's good enough for Liverpool to value and want to keep.

He's arguably more valuable to Barca at this point because their season starts quite a bit later. He'd only miss about a month for them.

At this point, if they do get good value they should pull the trigger though. It's obvious it's going to be back to the 2012 treatment if he stays in England. No doubt the FA put in its two cents on the all football ban as it is.

Get Sanchez plus enough dosh to sign a few other guys they're in for (Shaqiri, Origi, LB of the day) and I think everyone would leave the table happy.

OMG! Luke Shaw to officially sign with Manchester United tomorrow!

Before even signing with the club he has already amounted the same amount of Premier League winner's medals as Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez COMBINED! WHAT A PLAYER! WHAT A SIGNING!

Have him. Daft money for that. Guess United's desperate though.

The only more expensive defender transfers ever are David Luiz, Thiago Silva, and depending on whether or not you call him a defender, Javi Martinez.

Maybe you should have stayed with Moyes...he signed Coleman for a paltry 60,000.

Seems Soton took advantage of the insane Luiz transfer fee to jack up the price for Shaw. Good business by them for not even the most effective defender they'll sell this window.

Yeah, money would be much better used paying down the debt!

Meanwhile...your silence on Ander Herrera is interesting. Either...A) you don't know much/anything about him (fair, since he's never played for Spain), or B) You rate him and don't like that United brought him in

Jesus Christ you just enjoy being wrong. Hate united and hate this business bc it makes them so, so much stronger. They're paying a lot but he'll be there for a decade!

He will be the world's best LB before the next World Cup. He's an incredible talent.

United overpaid by a few million, but who fucking cares? 30 mil for a future superstar with 12+ years left in his career is amazing business.

Also, I'd like to compare 30 million for one of the most sought after prospects in world football to this player, that Liverpool FC paid 35 mil for...

BREAKING NEWS! Steven Gerrard has never won a Premier League title and he never will. Ever.

Like, seriously. Ever.

Where did you get the idea that I hate it? I'd hate it if it was a good move. I love it.

They actually ended up +30 on that deal. +15 for Carroll vs. Torres, +15 on selling Carroll. So they came up 30 million to the good to give up a guy that hasn't done anything for Chelsea. That's almost enough to account for what they spent on Suarez and Sturridge. So...that seems like it worked OK. Could have done better, but could have done a whole lot worse and salvaged it well. I can never get 15 million for Carroll on FM.

You're probably also one of the people that thought Jordan Henderson was a waste of money. In fact I'm pretty sure of that.

What has Jordan Henderson won at Liverpool?

(please don't mention Carling Cup)

Your math here is astonishing. You'd be fired for gross incompetence if you were an accountant.

Luckily, you just fetch important people's coffee. PHEW! Your job security is safe. I'm glad.

30 million for a guy that if he wasn't in the EU would fail to get a work permit. I don't know much about him, and I doubt I'll have much reason to care.

You lack of global football knowledge is quite apparent. Thanks for the Alan Hansen like report, anyway! I honestly do appreciate it.

European qualification next year? But hey, nice job on the midseason transfer to ensure 7th place. If you hadn't done that, the season might have turned into a real embarrassment.
