I liked hearing that we're running a lot of pick and roll in practice. It would seem to play to the strengths of our team and is something that hardly happened at all over the past four years.

Seriously, I appreciate the comments. I was thinking McClinton wouldn't really be playing a standard SG, more like a Bruce Dalrymple type who was the 2 in name only b/c they had Mark Price who was PG b/c he was the best ballhandler, and had other shooters. He was a slasher, trash offensive boards scorer, and disruptive all over with his athleticism and energy. Yeah, there definitely is a problem with ballhandling with that lineup. I still don't have a feel for what Leonard and Dinos can do other than shoot 3's. I appreciate the reconnaissance of the guys who have seen them in something more than a highlight reel, which is all I have.
 
Interestingly, in the short time I saw practice Leonard was outside more than he was inside. May have been more of a function of the drills beings run than anything.

McClinton is a typical 3 and won't get a lot of time (if any) at the 2.

Like you said, preseason pretty clearly means nothing, but still fairly remarkable that Tim Miles has Nebraska (Nebraska!) getting that much respect in year 3. Really good coach..remember the jump they took from 2011-12 to 2012-13 when they hired Miles.

Of course I didn't even realize that they finished 4th in the Big Ten and made the tournament. And, this year only two of the players in the rotation were already committed when Miles was hired (only one starter).
