Retired US Soccer / World Cup Thread (RIP)

Woods has looked good today. Jozy has been dead since 60 minutes.

Late goal for Colombia who deserved the win.

Glad to hear.

As for the match, I was sitting field level in the second row directly behind our first half goal, so it was hard to get a great perspective. From what I saw though:

- Garza Good! LB of the future good.
- MY BOI Kyle was the MF glue he normally is
- Jermaine looked pretty solid at CB
- Wood is okay at getting and maintaining possession but he SUCKS in the final third
- Nguyen looked great for the few mins he was on
 
Oh and the match was sold out, and it was like 85-90% Colombia fans. Which was fine by me because they were cool fans to talk and joke around with, plus the stadium was filled with hot little latin mommies. Apparently Colombia has a large ex-pat community in the UK, and if I lived here I'd do my best to marry my way into that community.

85-90% is being very generous! Felt like 98% vs 2%. Nothing will top the World Cup, but last night was pretty crazy.

It's terrible. Last night we traded buying fireball shots (or whatever the European equivealent is) and I think it came out to about 5.25 per. I hate this city.

Not a terribly exciting lineup. Wondo being the most glaring WTF decision. Would rather see more Rubin or Wood or even Green behind Jozy.
