BBall Recruiting Thread 2k16- SJM, Washington, Childress & Mitchell sign NLIs; 2017?

How good is Crawford?, for those who have followed him as a prospect. Let say Wilbekin becomes our starting PG this season, is Crawford expected to come in and displace him?

I'm not a recruiter or a D1 coach, but IMHO Crawford is a true PG not a combo (like Codi) or SG (like Wilbekin) turned into a PG.

If I had to guess, Crawford will be staring at PG not too far into the 2015-2016 with Wilbekin at the starting 2 slot and Codi providing some interesting rotations. Could be wrong, though...

Have to see how Wilbekin does against the ACC. Crawford is much bigger and thus one would think a better matchup on the defensive end. Wilbekin the better shooter.

Think of Crawford more as a CMM that's a better passer. We'll see how his shooting progresses.

Hard to imagine it will be worse than CMM's. I'm hopeful that if it starts off not looking so good, that he'll improve with some coaching and practice. Codi's shot progress has gone in reverse, IMO. He's scared to take a baseline jumper. Loss of confidence for a shooter is bad news bears...

No reason Wilbekin and Crawford couldn't switch assignments on defense.

Crawford would be the more effective player if he actually had shooters around him. I'd like to see how Wilbekin performs in ACC play. Will be an interesting storyline going into next season for sure though. Ideally, we'd bring in a seasoned post grad SG, play Crawford at point, and Wilbekin is the first guard off the bench.

Could we get this Chase Fischer kid from BYU as a graduate transfer? I think his outside shooting could really help....

Ty Graves (AAU teammate of Kwe and BChill) has transferred to Montverde (Doral Moore). Sharp shooting PG who will prob end up with UVA. Can't see us going after him, Chill and Kwe. Too small.
