College Football Coaching Carousel (2014-15 Edition)

It's almost like London needs to be Dabo and be a figurehead/recruiter. He's a great rep for the university. He just needs better assistants to run the football part of it perhaps. Tom O'Brien wasn't enough.

Yeah, I don't think TOB's loser ball style is helping UVA.

$1.6-1.8 million for muschamp. Crazy.

But combined salary of Malzahn and Muschamp still ~ 1.5 million less than Saban. Reports are head UF recruiter for south Florida and Auburn alum, Tavares Robinson, coming with Muschamp as DB coach. Could see a lot of kids flip.

UF's recruiting is ranked in the 90s currently.

I read somewhere Alabama is going to respond to the Muschamp hire by giving Smart a raise to stay the highest paid defensive coordinator after the playoff. What a waste of a money.

Disagree bro. Bama has the money. Fuck Auburn.

not really flip, but get CeCe Jefferson or Byron Cowart to come

Dude, UVA is killing everyone in basically every sport except football. You're going to get zero sympathy here.

To wit, they just won the natty in soccer after finishing, I believe, ninth in the ACC. The world is not a fair place.

Sounds like Houston hired Tom Herman from Ohio State.

VMI hired UVA's OL coach, Scott Wachenheim as its next head coach. Wachenheim played at AF. VMI may be the worst FCS program as they have not had a winning season in football since 1981 (yes, 1981 - 33 consecutive losing seasons)

I'll bet the LOVMI syndrome is alive and well there.

And now add Houston to the number of schools that has made a better coaching hire than the University of Michigan. I see Brady Hoke Part 2 patrolling the sidelines in Ann Arbor next year. What a dumpster fire!

My AAC is killing it with these young go-hards. Tubs the senior statesman

Herman's rep is such that when Houston president Renu Khator tweeted out on Friday, "If you have an opinion about next UH Football Coach, now is the time to tell us," the overwhelming reaction she got back were calls for the Buckeyes OC.

AWESOME!

There is a theory going around in DC that Jay Gruden is trying to piss-off Dan Snyder to such a degree (e.g., his public criticism of RG3) -- the latest is his decision to punt when the Redskins were down two scores with 1:30 to go (first time in 47 NFL games this year that a team decided to punt with less than 3 minutes to go and down two scores or more rather than going for it) that Snyder will agree to massive buyout to dump Gruden (Gruden is owed $20 million over the next 4 years), and then Gruden will take the Michigan job. Gruden has failed so miserably this year that I am not sure why Michigan would want him, but at this point, not sure who else is in the Michigan mix.

Muschamp family Christmas is gonna be awesome. Like just release the kids in Toys R Us w/ a shopping cart awesome.

It is amazing how dysfunctional the Redskins are.
