Agreed. It's fucked up he takes the internet so seriously, and it's fucked up that some folks are so brutally harsh with him. Unless he did a lot of really messed up stuff on the dark board (PM's and whatnot) the anti-RJ movement killed a fly with a sledgehammer. I'm all about baiting the bear in the name of fun. It just doesn't feel good to then see the bear shot for fighting.
 
He's still going to have to register as a chili molester from now on though.
 
This is the end of an era. I don't know if anyone has what it takes to fill his shoes.

Okay so.

Even though everything in my post had already been said before, and even though I'm still not all that upset by the end result, and even though that entire email is more hypocritical bullshit...

I feel like sort of a massive dickless pussy (to use rj's word I guess) right now. I didn't honestly think he'd quit over my post at the time. I figured he'd keep responding indirectly, like he always has when a USUAL SUSPECT goes after him. I guess I miscalculated.

It is what it is. He spent the last week going after Townie's ambition and life's work, so whatever. If you can't take the heat, get the fuck out of the kitchen, etc, etc
 
In addition to their constant, viscous personal attacks, they also attack what I’ve done in real life. It’s very telling about who they are as people. To them trying to save lives and give people piece of mind when they are ill or dying is deserving of ongoing mockery.

This is actually good work. I think that's Iron Maiden's best album and exposing the "ill or dying" to great heavy metal is praiseworthy.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy the recruiting thread being 80% about recruiting instead of 50%, at least for the next 5-10 days before the triumphant return.
