Yep. I love ours. It's not a Belgian one. It's like this. Basically the same kind we had growing up and that my parents still use.

Definitely have been wanting to do more savory ones as mentioned on the CT but keep forgetting.

yes a Krups model we got for our wedding. I've used it a few times.

so is the "yes and married" option is essentially "yes and we got it for our wedding registry"

Yes and yes, I've got a very similar one to the awesome round kind they use in the pit.

Got this one off our registry and fucking love it. Favorite thing to do is fill it up with hashbrowns and press down and get them all crusty and waffly.

We thought about putting waffle iron on the registry, but decided we would likely not use it much. It's been 6.5 years and we haven't wished we had one.

My wife makes waffles far more often than the average person.

As someone who likes to eat, it is hard for me to complain about this.

We don't have one. I just make pancakes. Only have so much cabinet space, and we already have a pretty boss blender, food processor, and juicer.

We have a Cuisinhart Foreman-esque contact griddle with interchangeable plates, including a set of waffle plates. We only use them once a month or so, but since I use the griddle on a regular basis, it doesn't bother me to keep the extra plates in the cabinet.

we registered and got the Griddler, but at the time the waffle plates were discontinued as I wanted to get that to save counter space. but we like our standalone waffle iron enough and have the space so it's ok.
