CBM: X-Men '97 finale; My Adventures with Superman S2 May 25; The Boys S4 June 13

I didn't have any problem with any of the characters. Fisk and Wesley may be two of the top 3 villains in the MCU. Madame Gao wouldn't be too far behind.

Watching First Avenger on FX. Man, Netflix needs to pick up Agent Carter or something. Anything to get more Haley Atwell on my screen.

She's just amazing.

I actually think Agent Carter would do very well with the Netflix treatment. Her brawler fighting style would be a great fit.

The early days of SHIELD post-WW2 is just too golden an opportunity to not fully explore. And she's so good in that role that it would be criminal to not continue her story.

And totally agree on Fisk and Wesley. Wesley I was particularly impressed with.

Yeah Wesley will be missed (we're full spoilers now). I just checked to see if he was in the comics, since I don't recall him, and he indeed was a very minor character from Frank Miller days.

Speaking of Frank - he's doing a 3rd chapter of "The Dark Knight Returns"! titled "The Master Race". Twice monthly starting in the Fall.

AoU shattered overseas expectations this weekend, $200M USD when Disney was projecting 160-170M http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/04/26/avengers-age-of-ultron-has-massive-overseas-opening.

It seems like an odd tactic to fight piracy, as mentioned up thread, by opening overseas, especially in countries that have rampant piracy like China and India. I have to think there are tons more illegal copies out there from those countries than what would result from opening in the US, but I'm not going to pretend I know more about the business of releasing movies than the folks at DIS.

I think Disney feels safe that people want to watch this movie in theaters.

Watching the Avengers...did anyone catch that one of the cops during the final battle was the gimpy Agent from Agent Carter?

He's a Whedon guy. He and Skye's mom as well as Whitehall were brilliant in Dollhouse.

The must have been asked a time or two to make that notice. "Please stop f n asking!"

Just in case you doubted if X-Men: Apocalypse was going to go all in on the 80s, this is Jubilee.
