Good bourbon

Welp, hope these bottles don't break on the plane, usually pack them well but never know (also have my annual tequila splurge)

Are you into tequila/mezcal?

I guess that question is for anyone. I picked up a bottle of this not too long ago but haven't tried it yet.

I do like tequila but haven't explored much. Have a new bottle that I'm taking home. Only had a little mezcal but I liked it and very open to trying more.

^following up, it was $28. I think the OWA107 was $30

B&D, I don't know if I've had that one in particular, but I like the Del Maguey products in general. I've currently got a bottle of the St. Louis del Rio open, which is really good:

I also really like Minero as well:

The season is almost upon us, so my advent calendar is ordered. There are a few new varieties this year, including bourbon and mezcal though I'm still going with the premium whiskey (mostly scotch) again. For anyone interested: https://www.masterofmalt.com/advent-calendars/

You didn't spring for the Old & Rare or the Naga Chili Vodka Escalation?

I was in the Lewisville ABC the other day and they said they got in two cases of OWA 12 last week. They sold the first case and have since been unable to locate the 2nd case. The guy said they were looking everywhere, I told him they were robbed (maybe by an employee) and he thought I was crazy.

OWA or Weller 12?

Buy me some Weller 12 please!

only bought one, there was another on the shelf but I didn't want to push the limits packing even more bottles (plus I just don't drink as much, which is a good thing) - but if you're ever in the Rio Grande Valley, maybe it'll still be there!

Just had my first fr single barrel, barrel strength. A random liquor store in South Jersey happened to have some on sale from a barrel their club did. Damn, this stuff is excellent. I'm real excited for our barrel.

I was wandering around a liquor store today (Boston area) and saw a four roses barrel strength as well, so I had to pick it up. OESV, a little different than the one you snagged, but glad to hear that yours was so good. I enjoy the FRSB in general and your review convinced me to go for it, hopefully mine is as good as yours.

My store here has 4 Rose's Barrel Strength for $55. I'm not sure what the mash bill is. Worth it?
