If HG isn't going to choose Wake, how much of a heads-up would he give Chill? I would imagine he would tell him prior to telling the world, right?

The other question is, why would a friend as good as childress not attend the announcement regardless of what school Giles ends up choosing?
 
Hoping this is a Miles Bridges situation. He announced at home which was an indication that he would go to MSU rather than UK. Choosing Duke while in Winston would suck.

Well there's nothing at all fun about a weekend at duke, so...
 
The funny thing is that UK's site says it's down to Duke and UK, and mentions that Wake might be involved a little bit.

I don't have any inside info, but I'm nearly positive it's down to Duke and Wake, or at least that's how I've been viewing it in my head.
 
Rick Lewis tweeted that Melissa Giles (assuming that his Mom?) spoke of the announcement date.

Harry's Mom has always wanted Wake - his Dad wants Duke. They do not live together. Trying to read in-between the lines.
