BBall Recruiting Thread 2k16- SJM, Washington, Childress & Mitchell sign NLIs; 2017?

Hard to imagine Randolph being at Harry's game/decision when he is coaching the next day at Bucknell for a 1:00 tip off.

Really? Bucknell isn't in Asia. Landing the #1 recruit in the country is a big enough deal where he can leave late the night before.

Coaches, especially ones that are key recruiters, do not always travel with the team. Often, they meet the team in whatever city they're playing next. Childress and Manning did exactly that last season for at least one game. No clue what Childress is or is not going to do but it is very possible for him to be at Giles' game in W-S.

Exactly. Chil can go from Winston to Bucknell's arena in like 4-5 hours. Not crazy to think that he might hang around to watch Harry's game. Also, if he is committing to Wake I would imagine Harry would want the Childress family there given how close he is to them.

Warm up the plane.

Rick Lewis tweeted that Melissa Giles (assuming that his Mom?) spoke of the announcement date.

Harry's Mom has always wanted Wake - his Dad wants Duke. They do not live together. Trying to read in-between the lines.

If moma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy

I was in Collins with Casey and LD when they played back in 06. The game was an afternoon game, they were back by 5. This opened my eyes to the money behind college sports. #assumedabuswouldbetaken

A little testy? :D

Gentleman... 17 days to go. 17 days until Mr. Giles signs that NLI. Will I reach -100 negative rep? Will another dozen or two ethnic and bigoted slurs and pejoratives be sent my way? Probably. Will the Panthers still be undefeated? Hopefully. Either way, let's raise our glasses and drink to a fun 17 day wait.

I hate how Dukeson is a Panthers fan. Why don't you pull for the Seahawks or Patriots like your skank self wants to. Stay off our VIBES whore.

I would be under the impression that RC will know of Harry's decision prior to him announcing it to the public. I would be surprised if he isn't w/ the team in Pennsylvania if that decision is anything other than WF. Don't you guys think Manning, Chill, & K will know his decision before the public is officially informed?

Not necessarily. Probably only the team he tells yes.

The way he has gone about the process, I would expect him to tell Manning, Self, Cal, & K prior to his announcement. He very well may say I appreciate the recruitment but I have opted to go elsewhere as opposed to revealing his choice, but the coaches should know whether they've "won or lost" prior to any formal announcement.
