I'm really curious about this narrative--this is the second time I've seen it posted. So y'all think Giles has properly committed to duke, and if for some strange, unlikely reason he decides to stick with his hometown then he will be somehow backing out on a promise to K?

All true, minus one wee little detail that Capel, Mr. Super Recruiter, didn't know about until it was too late.

Dook WAS a lock, but that changed around the end of April 2015.

This little "problem" is a big deal to Mr. Giles even though Capel & K don't think so.

We'll see how it plays out.

YO THAIN, when you were at duke, did you experience much grade inflation? I've definitely heard that was a thing there, at least it was when I was a Wake. What was your major?
