At least it appears he can admit when he fucked up (in action, if not in words) and is letting Manning do his thing. I'm no fan of DC sports but it's much worse to be in a Dan Schneider situation when an owner/AD relentlessly imposes his own outdated and simplistic planning over modern, successful coaches.

Still is. Even if he's letting Manning do his thing, it's a hole Manning will have a tough time getting out of because Wellman should have never created that hole.

Yep. Yet I got sucked into KVegas' posts even though there were the same telltale signs of Wake homerism.

That's actually a plus on this board. There are fewer people trying blow sunshine which is a sign that there are fewer people in Wake athletics trying to blow smoke.

Yep.... 876 pages & never did Babydeac throw out a vibe.... Never a chance. Lost guards to Miss St & Utah St. Offered 80 kids & the entire class minus Chill were not apart of those original 80.
 
I'm not giving up hope. Like I said earlier the Deac out danced the Devil like crazy on the Country Music Awards tonight. Definite win.

Fair point. While I think the wide ranging criticism of Wellman is often laughable on this board, I do think naming [Redacted] an unforgivable error is a fair position. I don't often buy into the LOWF argument but not replacing him after that debacle does reek of desperation. Very few schools who value their major athletic programs would have stood for it.
 
I'm still all-in on the vibes. I won't believe it until I see a hat-flip on ESPN.
 
Giles and his camp may have kept us in the race for a while simply out of home town love/respect for Danny. Its been good for Wakes recruiting perception to have been publicly competing with Duke for the top recruit.
