It's what seemed to be a no lose proposition. Go on the boards and say you have some insider information and share it but with no real details. But the supposed insider information is very low risk. So if it turns out to be right, your supposed insider status is confirmed. But if it turned out to be wrong, who cares because WOOOHOOO we got the best player in the country.

Coach K has all the momentum right now. I can't blame Harry for choosing Duke as much as I hate their shit fanbase. I wish him well in his recovery but I hope to God that when he shows up in Lawrence Joel, Wake fans let him know how much they appreciate his decision. I like our recruits this year but am worried about our guys coming nest year. I feel like this program just cannot get any momentum and when it does, the basketball Gods show up and take a big fat shit on the program. Damn I hope it changes before I die.
 
I feel like we thought buzz firing was where we finally were at rock bottom but seems to be a dead cat bounce with false hope from
Manning and we are probably on our way back down again.

I posted this a long time ago, but it should be repeated...

The Wake Forest athletic department operates under self-imposed sanctions. Our revenue sports suffer because of it. Our coaches are handcuffed.

This was said directly to me by a very frustrated coach.

Change is needed.
