Wake Forest @ Bucknell - Game Thread

I love how we have already won a true road game, and while they have a couple neutral location games, duke doesnt play a true road game until january 2.

I had to add the blocks. Wonder what the thought process by Manning is? DM is certainly getting productivity out of him. Maybe he thinks a huge part of his education right now should come from sideline observation.
 
Agree with most things posted in this thread. On Crawford, I'm excited about his potential to help close out games with his ball handling and free throw shooting. WF lacked a true point guard last year to handle the ball in tight situations and got less than desirable free throw shooting from those players as well. This season, WF could put out a lineup like Crawford, Wilbekin, Hudson, Dinos, Collins/Devin for end of game situations with the priority ball handlers (presumed FT shooters) being Mitch & Crawford.

Also, I know Mitch twanged two shots in crunch time today but he seems pretty reliable normally.

He also came back after the missed free throws and nailed a corner three on the next possession, so that was good to see.
 
It's going to be fun ( for the first time in years) to watch this team grow up and become a powerhouse.
 
If the floor for this team is the same record as last year, what's its ceiling? Obviously we're dealing with a small sample size and haven't seen a game yet with all our rotational players...

Fort Wayne, IN according to the roster.

Seriously we're pretty fortunate to have Van Horn in our current situation. For a guy that was a walk-on, we could do a lot worse, when having to look down the bench for guys forced into action because of injuries/suspensions.
 
Would be sweet to have the sharp shooting Alan Williams on this squad.

They'll be playing a lot more neutral court games in the post season while our guys sit and watch from their dorms. I'm not sure now is the time to talk shit about Duke's scheduling.
