I got out of a slog to Orlando because we absolutely have to be working this week. One of the biggest wine weeks of the year.
 
CT 179: In my entire life I've never found anything charming

My brother won't be making Thanksgiving or Christmas this year. We were planning on going to VA for Christmas but now my parents are saying they may go down to Boca and spend Christmas with him.

If that happens I would strongly consider just staying home and spending Christmas just the two of us.
 
What's the rule on when you can use wedding gifts. My family is having an engagement party for us this weekend and people have bought a bunch of stuff off of our registry already.

I would feel guilty sitting at home to avoid a drive, instead of spending time with my parents. In 10-20 years I won't be able to spend time with my parents anymore so I shouldn't complain about the hassle of getting there. So many friends of mine don't have two living parents anymore.

My senior year, all the football seniors were recognized on the second to last home game to avoid it happening in front of 300 people.

Not only was the final game that year poorly attended (Vandy on Thanksgiving weekend), but it was cold, windy, and raining. That was MY senior day. Thanks, band. At least we won, went to a bowl game, and won that, too.
 
The worst part of our drive this year is the 30 or so miles we have to do on I-66. Metroing out to VA around 1 to get picked up by my wife so hopefully traffic isn't too brutal.

You should reverse-guilt them into making the drive to Winston.
 
At the end of that Tofurky review the guy is spitting out and clearly feeling nauseous.
 
I wonder how Say Hey decides whether or not he's gonna post as Rubbins. A lot of Rubbins posts could be Say Hey posts.
