ECU friends say everyone is pretty pissed about it.
The Cleveland Browns are reportedly going to throw some serious money at Urban Meyer. If OSU opens up that could get the carousel spinning much faster.
"Haslam is swinging for the fences here and has brought his hefty check book with him to make sure he can land the Buckeyes' championship coach. The numbers on a potential offer are, well, staggering to say the least. Our source has said that $10 million per year is the starting point of potential negotiations, with minority ownership in the Browns being a part of the package that could add up to another $20 million to the contract over the lifetime of Meyer's potential era as Browns coach."

Yeah really. Maybe BillGeorge can weigh in here. He's been quite successful there. Four bowls, a 10 win season 2 years ago. This is his first losing season in the conference. They beat VT and only lost to UF by a TD.
OSU will not open up. Urban Meyer is not a pro coach. His system is predicated too much on running the QB. You can't do that in the pros. I don't see him changing for the pros. In the unlikely event he does leave, Tom Herman of Houston would get one of the first calls.
