2015 Football Coaching Carousel: Southern Miss HC to Tampa Bay

My aunt went to HS with him and his yearbook football photo has him listed as Ruffin "White Boy" McNeill.

AD says that ECU should be in the position of competing for conference championships each year. Methinks its the AD wanting to hire his own guy. Ruffin is a great guy and loved by the fanbase. I have no idea where they go from here.

The Cleveland Browns are reportedly going to throw some serious money at Urban Meyer. If OSU opens up that could get the carousel spinning much faster.

"Haslam is swinging for the fences here and has brought his hefty check book with him to make sure he can land the Buckeyes' championship coach. The numbers on a potential offer are, well, staggering to say the least. Our source has said that $10 million per year is the starting point of potential negotiations, with minority ownership in the Browns being a part of the package that could add up to another $20 million to the contract over the lifetime of Meyer's potential era as Browns coach."

That is truly insane.

Would anyone expect anything other than this level of ineptitude? They're the Browns. Browns gonna Browns.

Somewhere, Percy Harvin hides in a corner, trembling at the thought of being traded for and forced to run the ball 40 times a game to save Meyer's ass.

OSU will not open up. Urban Meyer is not a pro coach. His system is predicated too much on running the QB. You can't do that in the pros. I don't see him changing for the pros. In the unlikely event he does leave, Tom Herman of Houston would get one of the first calls.

Yeah really. Maybe BillGeorge can weigh in here. He's been quite successful there. Four bowls, a 10 win season 2 years ago. This is his first losing season in the conference. They beat VT and only lost to UF by a TD.

The ol' Ralph Friedgen treatment.

Sounds like UVA may have hired their coach.

"Big announcement coming in just minutes regarding #UVA Football. Check for it on @UVA_Football. #GoHoos"

^^^ Bronco, Fuente and Richt. ACC making some nice hires.

Folks, the Coastal division did well.
