Grier to WFU?

Sounds like perfect fit for the Heels. No way if those rumors are true he ever ends up at Wake.
 
Why not just stay at UF?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have the guy.

So after I read that article, it looks like the author was just throwing out 5 options. I saw a tweet that Grier is not permitted to transfer to another SEC school, so Arkansas is out based on that.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I found two articles looking at schools that writers perceived could be fits, but no one claiming to have info on Grier's actual wish list. Specifically, there hasn't been any actual connection to Wake - even rumored discussions - since his tranfer announcement.

Also, given the amount of time that Grier would have to sit and the need to sort out any concerns about his time at Florida, it would seem possible that his transfer could take a while to play out. So he may not be narrowing his list anytime soon.

The only real info has come from 247's Keith Niebuhr who tweeted "This isn't the last we'll hear of Will Grier. I can already confirm several programs are interested"

Every single player that could have come back for UF is bolting. If Tennessee can't win the division next year it may be time to give up.

Didn't he grow up and play just north of Charlotte? Wake makes some sense if he wants to be closer to home, but he's not a bright dude, and his father seems like a "my boy can do no wrong" asshat. Do we want that around the program?
 
Would love to have him. Our current qb situation is absolutely abysmal.

He'd be the best QB Wake has ever had. His family is from around the Davidson area and are a little bit fame-whorish with two other kids internet sensations with millions of followers. Wake should sign him and not look back.

There are no unexpected losses apart from Alex McCallister. Vols are trash who haven't beaten Florida in 11 years.

Rumors in G'Ville are that after getting busted with PED's (he lied to school officials...these weren't the OTC ones as reported), he then got busted doing blow and completely unraveled and was sent off to rehab.
