Just pointing out that Ol' Ricky produced these here boards from his loins as a service to Deacon Nation. It would be nice if we all appreciated those loins a little more.

Loins is a word you don't hear that often. It really needs to be worked into more posts. "He needs to work on handle and lateral quickness. Still a high major project with excellent loins."

Yeah I think I would like him the most.

He is a late developer, can get to the rim, and also shoots well from the FT line.

At the least he is somebody that can provide some senior leadership for the younger guys.

If we got Barry then our lineup would look like this: Crawford, Mitch (or Woods), Barry, Dinos (or Collins), Moore (or Collins)

That's a solid lineup that should win around 8-10 games. That's what we need to see for next season. It also gives Mitchell and Washington some time to get adjusted to freshman year.

In theory we could get two grad transfers. I would much rather go that route than get somebody this late in the game.

Has there been anything said to indicate that Barry has ANY interest at all in coming to Wake? Or any of those three for that matter?
 
Manning should have a good shot at Barry given that Scooter Barry was one his teammates on the 88 Kansas championship team.

Barry wanted to come here from HS.
Been multiple things out on Wake reaching out to DeSean Murray
Haven't seen any Wake ties with Bernard, he's just one of the better grad transfers out there. Florida and Butler coaches/media have followed him recently. Florida would make sense because he wants to play in the NCAA. Think I saw State in there too.
 
Agree. Any lineup where Welbekin might be a starter and Collins isn't good enough to beat our Dinos or Doral is fucking garbage.
 
Re: Barry....Georgia, Vandy, Minnesota, South Alabama, Louisville, Butler, CSU-Bakersfield, Clemson, and a few more have followed him since he announced his intent to transfer. There will be competition there.

Well it depends on what type of lineup we are trying to play.

Collins and Woods both need to beat out Mitch and Dinos imo if we are going to be successful.
