Official '15-16 NBA Season Thread: THEY WON ONE FOR THE LAND

I think it was important to keep that doubt in the Warriors heads that they can win in SA.

Anyone who suggests that Pop didn't at least want to split the series with the Warriors is completely full of shit. Just look at active players compared to other games down the stretch.

Meaningless game in the big picture. Spurs offense terrible, missing open 3 after open 3. Spurs defense, again, showed they can slow GS down at least at home.

All outcomes are meaningless.

That didn't look like a matchup of two all time great teams last night. Both teams looked tired.

The Spurs offense looked terrible. Part of that is the GS defense but there was no flow at all. Tony Parker was having a great season but really hit the wall in March. He looks like he'll be a non-factor in a SAS-GS series. Danny Green (having an awful season) and Boris Diaw will probably be the most important players for the Spurs in that series.

It'll be interesting to see how these Western first round matchups shake out. Everybody should want to match up with the Grizz. I'd try to avoid the Jazz, as they seem like the low seeded team capable of suddenly hitting a higher level of play.

Don't forget this god damned genius if they don't get eliminated from contention.

Win 72 or 73, but don't get the Larry O'Brien and these games are meaningless.

Except for that playoff win they had in SA two years ago.

People can say what they want, but if GS doesn't win the championship this year, their season is a failure. And they can say what they want, but if they have to play a team with at least 65 wins to just get to the finals, it is far from a lock.

trying to determine what playoff games to go to. i'm going to either g1 or g2 of the first round (have giants tix monday so will go to g1 if g2 is on monday). may skip the second round all together. thinking defs one of wcf and try to get a finals ticket (if my friend's wife joins him from australia i'll need to get them on the market). p-off tix are so much pricier than last year (face on finals is like $500).

Just don't spring for any G5's.

So local LA radio was debating on whether GSW for 73 or Kobe's last game should be on ESPN vs ESPN2.
