Official '15-16 NBA Season Thread: THEY WON ONE FOR THE LAND

I don't why the ball was in Parker's hands those two possessions and keeping Aldridge on the bench so much.

How didn't SA get many FTs when they took the ball into the lane so much.

That's a result of Parker having the great shooting night in game 3.

Yeah. I'm not worried about him after his playing days are over. Just worried if they'll be over this week.

Some teams are just kryptonite for others - the Thunder just are a terrible match up for the Spurs. The raw athleticism really bothers the Spurs, especially in the backcourt, and I'm just not sure what San Antonio can do about it.

They bounced them a few years ago the same way, just a really rough team for SA to play 7 times in a row.

Spurs missed a lot of shots and both West and Diaw seemed off. Right now, Kawhi and Parker have the greatest will to win which is why I think Parker took the last shot. He hit the shot before.

The problem with the Spurs "new" system is that you don't tire out your opponent. Great ball movement is just hard to keep up with for 4 quarters. All this isolation offense shit is easier to defend both physically and mentally. You have to be incredibly efficient which I suppose means 75% shooting from Aldridge and 50% from 3 from Leonard. Those guys aren't doing that the last 3 games. You are in a way giving Westbrook or Durant a break, Durant particularly.

The Thunder are missing shots too, but they are getting offensive boards by the boat load. I do think it was odd how uninterested Ibaka seemed and I am annoyed that Donovan had no idea he had a gamer in Foye until Game 4 second half and now gets big buckets from him. I feel like there should a 3 game rule. If you don't use a player through the first 3 games, you lose him. Shame on you.

Agree about the "new" system. Although tiring out the Thunder would be a poor strategy anyway.

What a choke job by the Spurs, dropping two games at home after winning 49 straight there.

They will be remembered for this unless they can some how dig out two in a row.

Crazy how a team can go from leading by 43 at halftime of Game 1 to down 3-2.

Doubt it. The Warriors will be the legend of this season. Spurs were always a footnote this year.

It will be remembered as Duncan's last season and the transition to the Kawhi-LMA era. Now to get Conley in free agency.

So if the Spurs lose to OKC and GS goes on to win the title, do we still have to hear about how GS was "lucky" to have avoided the Spurs?

Is that the narrative now? Should we dig up some spurs donk posts from like a week ago?

Who says that they get to define how history remembers this season? Everyone with a brain has been saying that barring injury, the Dubs were going to roll to #2.

I am not that angry about the Kawhi foul that wasn't called with 4 minutes left - it is the Steven Adams trip of Danny Green that was huge. It was an obvious intentional trip which is a flargrant 1 - a technical foul and the ball. Huge impact. Instead, Durant gets two foul shots on a missed shot. 3-5 point swing.
