1. Fayetteville is not a major urban area (or even a major city in NC for that matter)
2. John Franklin McGraw did not apologize as far as I know. I googled his name and "apologizes," "said sorry," and various other synonyms for saying you're sorry and didn't personally find anything remotely close to him issuing an apology.

People are saying this spells doom for the Trump campaign because this Breitbart guy from most accounts is just another version of Trump who wants to tap into nationalist/populist rhetoric and movements which most don't really think is a winning strategy. It has nothing to do with being scared or fearful or whatever you're alleging, it mostly has to do with the fact that Trump is doubling down on dumb yet again. The other hire appears to be someone who can help his campaign if he actually listens to what she's saying re: polling, numbers, and statistics. I doubt he will do this at all though. Trump will run a "normal" campaign for a couple more days and stick to the teleprompter and then within the next week or so he'll have some other absolutely idiotic statement that he'll blame the media for misconstruing and intentionally lying about what he said. Rinse, repeat. In the end he will lose the election by 5% or so and get romped in the Electoral College. The GOP will throw Trump under the bus and claim that he co-opted the party and wasn't a true conservative. Trump will make allegations that the election was rigged even though he got destroyed. You will continue your pity party.
 
I can't stress enough that these moves do not make any Democrat scared.

These moves are ridiculous and will lead to an even bigger beatdown than expected. It's a disaster and only reinforces the voters Trump is already going to get.

He is going to continue isolate anybody who is on the fence and they will go to Hillary.

It's bizarrely stupid to the point where it solidifies my thought process that Trump is doing everything possible to actively throw the race.
 
I did have the pleasure of hearing a guy with a face tattoo at the airport last night extol the virtues of Trump and how anyone who voted for Clinton was throwing away America. That was a blast.

Breitbart guy guarantees that Monica, Vince Foster's suicide, and Bubba's many alleged sexual assaults will be part of Trump's debate tactics. Cuban, Rendell, or Brian Schweitzer would be willing to bring those up during debate prep.
 
If Trump (or his surrogates) does go Breitbart on Hillary, some of those close Senate races could be impacted.
