General Election Thread: Two Weeks Out

Didn't Palin attempt to launch some digital conservative network or something? Didn't it fail spectacularly?

Trumps News: Palin News 2.0

trump's brand was far stronger than palin's ever was before his campaign. her family spun a joke of a vp run in to a cable reality show. trump's been the key to one of the biggest network reality shows for years. pretty sure his media savvy and brand will trump anything palin does. i'm still amazed america wasnt treated to this:

i forget the exact number but trump was supposed to have valued his brand at like $2 billion or something prior to the election. ashamed to say after this run he may have been spot on.

Well Trump has a solid plurality of the Republican party in which he will tap in to.

He's probably just testing out how far he can go to sucker uneducated, racist, people into buying into anarchy and complete bullshit before they tune out. He hasn't reached the point yet, and to even substantiate his point even more, has drawn in legitimately intelligent conservative Congressmen, media, former governors, and EVEN POSTERS ON HERE! into believing and sucking from his tit on everything.

It's a terrific business plan, if not ethically and morally reprehensible for using people's lack of education and critical thinking skills (or loyalty to a party) against them.

I doubt his brand was worth that much then and it is worth less now. He's pissed off a lot of people. His supporters can't afford to play golf or buy his shit.

Newt, Rudy, and Christie didn't have any viable political future, so they eagerly hopped on the bandwagon. Cruz thinks he's viable for 2020, so he backed off. Pence is smarter than Santorum, so he bailed before he lost in his home state, but he still hasn't realized that his social positions will be extinct before 2020.

Kellyanne Conway, Trump's new Campaign Manager, is puzzling. She has to understand the numbers and know Trump has an extremely low probability of winning, but she still hopped onboard. Don't see much future campaign work for her after Trump loses.

Huckabee and Carly are just desperate. Huckabee's run twice and never sniffed the nomination, but now he wants to be FL Governor. May work, but his politics are done nationally. Carly's allegedly worth $70M. Has never held office, didn't realize Cruz was never going to get the nomination but was wannabe VP for a week, and now wants to be RNC Chair. No huge pay day for her.

Kellyanne Conway has been around a long time. She was one of the first hot lady pundits 15-20 years ago, but time has not been kind.

Trump's Gen. Flynn has ties to Russia, had dinner with Putin and insults Jews. Nice trifecta:

http://www.jpost.com/US-Elections/D...sia-accusation-with-anti-Semitic-tweet-462256

"Flynn wrote that "the corrupt Democratic machine will do and say anything" to get Clinton elected. "This is a new low," he said, retweeting a message that read: "Not anymore, Jews. Not anymore."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-putin-and-why-russia-today-is-just-like-cnn/

He says "Russia today is just like CNN"

No candidate in US history could get away with so many ties to an adversarial nation and leader.

We have entered a time where facts are no longer facts if you don't agree with them.

Troubling indeed when the objective truth is rejected because it's easier to ignore it.
