At least 25 wounded in New York City blast

Flip this logic around whenever a hurricane heads north of the Mason Dixon.

Agree to some extent, but if a Category 2 hurricane makes direct landfall on Boston (or some parts of New York/New Jersey apparently as we saw with Sandy) it would destroy everything from the Harbor all the way up through the Back Bay area (it's all landfill). I don't remember what the standard is on a direct hit to the barrier NC islands, but it seems like the south is just better equipped for that. Just like the north is better equipped for snow storms.

I guess I agree with your post in general then hah.

Not sure what thread this goes on, but it's pretty bizarre to me that the people who LOVE AMERICA THE MOST (i.e. the people mad at CK for kneeling), are the same ones stockpiling guns to defend themselves when the American government decides to confiscate and attack their house.

Seems hypocritical.

People love America. Nobody loves government.

Apparently, the City of NY had given citations and other charges against the Person of Interest's family's fried chicken shop. Maybe he's more Bundy of NV than ISIS.

I've never seen ISIS take this long to take credit for an attack.

Didn't even notice this till you pointed it out. Get a clue rj.

Rjkarl: noted observer of ISIS chatter

Let's break it down rather than being bkf or bob, jr failed sarcasm. On Saturday, they immediately took credit for the attack in Minneapolis. They took immediate credit for Orlando, Garland (TX- prophet Muhammed event) Paris, Brussels, Copenhagen and almost every other attack.

But they haven't in NYC.

Sorry to bring up actual events and what happened and that this is different. Maybe you should read a little more rather than showing what you don't know.

Maybe you should read more and snipe less.

this is a dumb argument; people like to live where they like to live.

i can get the driving vs being able to walk issue but if you spent your time in suburban PA eating in shitty places and doing boring stuff, that's on you

Actually do agree with RJ's take on ISIS claiming responsibility. They're quick to claim responsibility when it's them. Although this is why their method works so well too: claim successful attacks as your own and just ignore ones that don't work. None of this are "ordered by ISIS" or anything.

hershey was good for what it was but it kinda solidifies the point

i lived the same distance from work i do now, ~2 miles, but i wasn't about to walk/bike to work down 322

and i didn't ever get to hang out with different kinds of people or really walk to any fun bars or restaurants, everything that was good was a drive (troegs, harrisburg spots, etc.)

to each their own, but you were the one who started the asinine "do you lock your doors"

ITT people equate locking doors to prevent theft with banning Muslims/launching foreign invasions to prevent sporadic terror attacks

I thought I saw they had claimed responsibility for it but I don't see any mention of it- just that there might have been some foreign involvement. My apologies rj!

I would not support the interventionist policies of a President Clinton. I am for a complete overhaul of our immigration policies though- I feel our current immigration system is hurting native born Americans. We need an immigration system that helps Americans, not hurts them. And there is plenty of evidence that shows Americans are being harmed:

"Ahmad Khan Rahami, the man suspected in bombings in New York and New Jersey, is now in custody after a shootout with police, sources said...Bombings in New York and New Jersey over the weekend -- as well as the discovery of several unexploded devices -- have led authorities to believe there may be a terror cell at work in those two states, law enforcement officials told CNN Monday."

No, there isn't. There is nothing that shows that changing the immigration would definitely decrease the supposed harms

ITT we learn Townie thinks all white people are the same. That's not racist.
