Indiana -5

What exactly is our offense's comfort zone?

Sitting on the bench watching our D do its thing?

No I'm honestly impressed with our improvement especially on the line, and believe we'll hold our own even if we come out with an L.

I really think Kearns is going to get some PT against Indiana after Wolford gets banged up on a couple plays. I would be okay with this.

I think they should only get a one game suspension...to take effect immediately.

Well, that should be a bit of a distraction, eh ?

Everyone's giving up figuring you can't win when the other team has twice the first downs and yards and time of possession.

But if you get some turnovers and hold them to some field goals you can still win. Look at ECU South Carolina last week and you realize there is hope.

Ecu had twice the yards and 3 times the first downs and twice the possession time but South Carolina still won.

I'm tired of everyone saying we won't win. Yes of course I agree with all of you that on paper we have no chance but there's other ways to win a game.

Wake and Indiana are actually pretty close on Football Outsiders F+ composite. Like 70 vs 55. Also note that FEI rankings penalize you for playing poorly against bad competition (where Tulane game hurts us in this metric).

It's a 7.5 point spread, not a 20 point spread.

They set the line to get equal bets on both sides which has nothing to do with the final outcome which typically varies from the line by 10-15 points.
In this case the line is 5 but Indiana should win by 15-20 points.
The spread versus the outcome often varies by 40 points such as the va tech game and Louisville game last week and the wake game was 20 points off too.
And we have the Clemson game tonight where to get equal bets they set the spread between 10 and 12 and they're going to miss it by 15-20 points.

So we know IU is 20 points better than we are ... the question is can we smoke and mirrors them enough to somehow get the win?
