I think it's different when there's a realization that majo was reached? I dunno, the majo twilights I'm remembering had people say "that was majo" or something. Not sure the game here was aware that it was majo before I called it.

And this was after we had some non-standard end of day times too I think.

Not at all like that, though. There's an expectation that you know when the day is ending, because it's always posted in the title and time is a constant and clocks exist.

If someone is on mobile its not immediately clear. People aren't checking that every time they post. Again, why is night even called?
 
There should also be some backlash towards rommy and knight (there may have been others? not sure) who posted to bitch about the 1:00 deadline at the start of Day 3. That was some bullshit, IMO.

I can see both sides of this argument, honestly. I've said repeatedly that I typically wouldn't have AA'd knight for that. There were other factors (SD3's posts, the N1 confusion, it being 4 minutes late vs 1, and my original rules post) that led me to pulling the trigger.

I think the larger point is: read the goddamn rules next time. In all honesty, I should have AA'd two more civs for Knight/Toogs deadposts based on my opening rules post. It would've been totally fair and defensible to do so, because I explicitly outlined that in the opening post, which I am sure a certain demographic of you never fucking read.

That's all fine. I'm just arguing to argue - I would have probably AA'd them just to keep the game somewhat even. But it was a technicality AA and kind of shitty. Killing them for posting 4 minutes late when you called night even later than that?

"if its not night yet" is different than "oops I missed the vote." I took it to mean he didn't know if it was night or not (which is lazy but fair since the previous deadline was not as posted in the OP).

Sd3 probably shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt on that though.

Fair. I am also, and I'm sure RSF is too, looking at SD3s multitudes of AAs before that as well. So ya I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt

And yes it sucks RAF didn't call night, buteither way it proves he was cognizant of deadline when he posted both of those things

My point with sd3 is that its pretty obvious he was operating under the assumption that its not night until the mod says night. Otherwise you're arguing that he was trying to commit suicide? Angle shooting would be if he did that within a couple seconds or a minute of night being called trying to make it look accidental. Knight had already posted after the deadline...nothing happened...sd3 clearly wasn't angle shooting.

Unless he comes in and says so, in which case WHATEVER
