Obama is leaving a Democratic Party in shambles

And to answer the rest of you clowns, I'm proud to be in the party of minorities, win or lose. I do however welcome the day that you all start inviting them back, instead of just hoping they don't vote.

You feel good about calling your party "the party of minorities". Does that not imply that if you are not a minority, find a new party.

Is it too much to ask to treat people as individuals and not members of groups based on percentage of melanin in their skin.

Its not too much to ask when you don't want to address their specific issues and you don't need their vote to win elections. If you are in the all white party you can treat people however you like, because there are no consequences for it. That's how you can name Steve Bannon as your chief strategist.

It's really too bad that we Democrats ran such a terrible unlikable candidate. We really missed an opportunity.

I think Trump probably beats a majority of candidates either party could have run. Sure Hillary may have been ulikable, but the guy skullfucked like 30 of the best and brightest in the GOP too.

I disagree. His percentages in the swing states were 48.5%, Hillary's was 46.6. 5 out of every 100 swing state voters voted against both candidates. A different Dem candidate needs to pull 1 voter from Trump and 1 3rd party voter to win the election. You already know Jill Stein voters would go Bernie.

You still don't get it. It's truly remarkable. The sad part is we're running out of branches of government for your party to lose control of. I'm beginning to think that the wake-up call isn't going to be answered.

Tell me more about losing the popular vote by millions. You win 1 national election and suddenly you're the swing state whisperers.

Well, you've said one unimpeachable thing today. You are truly the party of the minorities. In this case, the Minority Leader in the House, the Minority Leader in the Senate, a minority of governorships, a minority of State legislatures....

The rural/urban divide has become hyper polarized during the past 10 years. There are more rural areas to be represented, and rural voters are more highly motivated on state level issues. Republicans speak about this political trend as if they are flipping voters, when they are just convincing more of their base to vote. I would like my party to motivate the base and expand the tent, you seem to be satisfied with your party just motivating its base.

They are speaking about it as if they are winning because they are.

I agree that your message isn't resonating in your base as it much as it once was. We disagree about whether or not you should determine why this is happening.

Let's pass a few amendments first before they figure it out.
