In the category of headlines anyone could write, ESPN reporting that Texas is receiving "extreme pressure" to fire Charlie Strong and hire Tom Herman.

That's hard hitting journalism right there.

Remember when everyone got all excited about that Notre Dame-Texas opener?

Not sure which would annoy me more -- OU finding their way into the playoff again or Bama destroying another punchless Big Ten team in a semi
 
OU has no business in the playoffs. The Big XII blows goats, and The Sooners got beat by every decent OOC team they played. Even Louisville has a decent case against OU. Hopefully, Washington will win out and make it moot, but I'd rather see two Big 10 teams than anyone from the Big XII.

Don't let ND hire someone competent, they should keep the grump. Why couldn't we have played them this year. They were 2-3 vs the ACC.

Agreed. Penn St and Louisville both have better resumes than OU
 
One month ago UConn football led UCF 16-7 in the 2nd quarter. Since then they've been outscored 109-3. Opponents have scored last 85 points.

I think Charlie should go back to being a DC for a spell before taking his next head coaching job. He'll have his pick of the litter.
