Just because she has failed and is an absolute opponent ot public schools doesn't mean she shouldn't have this posts.

The choice parents want is a quality education for their children. Competition and unregulated charter schools denigrate the entire system and reduce the probability of anyone receiving a quality education.

I don't think he understands that.

School choice encourages or forced student mobility. I doubt any of us olds or micro olds look fondly on our school years moving from school to school chasing the best option. No. We remember staying in the same schools and making friends and the stability of being in settings where teachers and administrators knew us and looked out for our well-being.

It's the republican playbook through and through. Cut discretionary funding (the smallest budget that helps and effects the most people) but increase spending for defense (the biggest budget component) while not touching social security and Medicare, oh and cut taxes because why not.
 
Dubya and Obummer kept kicking the can down the road. Trump is the first President willing to tackle the problem. No one said it will be painless.
