Who has a Wife or Daughter going to the Woman's March on Washington?

Weather sucked; march ruled. Hoping the localized effort of these events actualizes localized activities throughout the country. Make America Equal Already!

I am glad you all had a great time at your march. Hopefully that got it out of your system.

Making America great is hard work. Time to lend a hand or get out of the way.

This x100. You had your little hissy fit. Feel better? Now please join the rest of America in making it great again.

Fat Brian Billick in the foreground slays me every time.

You took your children to an event filled with vulgar signs, teaching them these are the people they should emulate, angry manhaters. I do like the "Protect and Respect" sign though. Not angry and a good message. Not saying all of them were pissed off manhaters, but judging by the signs, a lot of them were.

You helped to elect a vulgar angry man to the presidency. A man caught on tape mocking people, making extremely sexist comments and bragging about sexual assault. I brought my children to a rally in opposition to his vulgarity and misogyny. They are young women and they should know that it's not ok for any man to act the way Trump has. I am teaching my children that when they see some wrong in the world they should stand up and fight against it. How about, instead of implying that I am some kind of a bad parent for exposing my children to vulgarity, you consider some contrition for putting all fathers of daughters in this shitty position.

So. Did. You.

Trump was not marching with signs saying "Grab her by the pussy" like these women are. It was a comment made in private, in jest, to someone he considered a friend. I'm sure you all have never made a sexist comment in private. Obama used drugs in private before he was president, what kind of example did that set for your children? Where was your outrage and march over his illegal drug use? Oh, whatever Obama did is okay because you voted for him. Got it.

If you think that all of Trumps misogynistic comments were said in private, well, you're just wrong.

I absolutely did not.

Do you think that middle America doesn't agree with your message, or doesn't understand your message? If the latter, then you failed to explain it to them. Who's fault is that?

Did you have to explain any of the signs or the "pussy hats" to your daughters? See any coat hanger signs? I guess it made for a lot of educational moments.

No, not too many educational moments because my girls already know that Pussy is a slang word for a woman's private parts and that Trump bragged about violating a woman's private parts. They already know what abortion is and that some men want to take away their rights to choose whether or not to carry a pregnancy so the hanger signs were pretty easy to explain. My daughters are not sheltered and innocent flowers, they can't be in a world where someone like Trump gets elected to the presidency.

The DNC choosing to run a candidate like Hillary over a great man like Bernie Sanders is not even remotely my fault. I marched for Bernie, donated to his campaign, even made some phone calls on his behalf. I have no culpability in Trumps election.

So glad I went and marched. 10-15k expected, 63k estimated.

I like that you're big on trying to teach your children to have respect for others, that's fantastic, but I wish you'd let them formulate their own thoughts as far as politics, instead of trying to get them to loathe their President as much as you do.
