Deac94's 2nd Annual National Signing Day Extravaganza

Is Adam Winter no longer a commit, he is listed on rivals?

Walk on. I don't think Rivals ever had that correct. I think the quality of the walk-ons this year has maybe been overlooked. I need to pull something together on that. Clawson has steadily improved recruiting in that area. Jack Freudenthal perhaps an early success story from previous classes.

One item I've neglected to mention is that Bowers will be featured in a 10 part docuseries that starts in February. Made by the guy who directed Friday Night Lights. 2 other players will be featured as well. I think it may only be available online.

Great work 94. Thanks.

What is the likelihood that we may yet get a surprise recruit?

Our DL is gonna be good for awhile. Look forward to seeing Zimmer and Big Mike on the field.

Almost zero. An official Twitter account said we were done. I'll watch to confirm that Zyon Gilbert is headed to FAU. Les Johns mentioned a local DB last week, but it doesn't appear that anything came of that.

Thanks.

The Washington Post today listed the VA, DC and MD HS seniors and their college choices.

Included was Coby Davis to WF, but also included was Goran Jovanovic from Paul VI in Fairfax, VA. He is listed as an OL/DL.

His twitter account: https://twitter.com/jovanovicgoranf?lang=en also indicates a commitment.

Is Goran a preferred walk-on?

Hopefully something for everyone here, whether you followed the recruiting thread this year or are just tuning in now.

Good analysis as always, 94. Just curious: why did you not include Duke in your ACC peer comparison?

Wow, have not been following this class as much as in year's past. The stats/rankings listed in the first post appear to be pretty concerning. Why is recruiting regressing in Clawson's third class?

That's kind of a skewed way to look at it. Mike Allen is, by some measure, among the best recruits we've ever had in football. It's just a small class.

I think there are some pretty great potential contributors. I'm high on the class.

Noticed that we have two state players of the year. Not sure that has ever happened before
