Mrs. Sciandra! Haven't heard that name in a while. What's her daughter up to these days?
TWMD (or Lou Gosset Jr, i guess) or chic or birdman or whoever
Any of y'all check out CodeOcean?
were you at that mass?
why weren't we sitting up front with the youth group? i was definitely with my family, sitting near the back, and i could only see me and mrs s standing.
This is making me think of that last episode of Black Mirror and that maybe this is some kind of robot bee.
I was with my family at the morning mass in the church -- not the evening youth mass or the activity center. I was literally the only person in the entire church standing up. So the priest decided to call me out in front of all 200ish people and give a speech about how the young people were failing our community (while I was still standing up) and how it was the duty of parishioners to teach me the ways of God. My parents told me they were proud of me and that they wished they had been brave enough to stand up. I kept going to youth group and youth mass for the rest of high school, but I was fucking done with the church after that day. All of our trolling aside, this was pretty fucked up, and I made my stand.
Also, it was a mandate from the bishop, so the letter was certainly read aloud at every service that weekend. Your family might very well have been at the noon mass.
It's one of the concepts that's great on the surface because code already is shared throughout the Internet and this seems like an easy way to make a central hub. What I'd love to see is their data on papers with code get cited three times as often, why? At no point unless you write a completely unique program has anyone's code ever been useful. It's usually the most specific thing possible, and most code is written by some bioinformatics ms student trying to find something to get a thesis on.

You guys are going to think I'm kidding but I'm dead serious -- every time I try to take this bee's picture, it flies away. So I sat back down and put my phone right next to me, camera on, ready to snap and the whole time the bee never appeared. So I finally got tired of waiting and put my phone back on the dock and put my tunes back on, and as soon as I did the bee reappeared. So I grabbed my camera again and AGAIN the bee flew away.
Yes and no depending on the purpose behind it. Most people's code seems fairly specific to the problem they are trying to solve and the parameters they are working with. A hint of how to do something may exist in the code or a unique way to tackle a variable but most of the time it's easier to write your own code for your own problem then deconstruct someone else's code. It just seems that because in science you are suppose to show your work it became necessary to put all the code out there as well and nobody had a good idea on how to do it, or really how useful it is.
You need to come to terms that this bee is plotting your demise and will succeed unless you shape up
Better to know the truth now than to keep your questions to yourself for another 6 months and find out then. He sounds kinda like a dbag anyway.
Wasting your time. Dude's a loser. Get out now.
