Per capita dude. You have 2.9MM people in KS and 27.5MM in TX. KS therefore has nearly twice the bbq representation per capita in that list

The place I'm visiting tonight does a pretty good brisket with blueberry BBQ sauce. I might get that.

yeah dude. nearly came.

id say the trifecta of Oklahoma Joes, Q39 and LC's is the best representation of the array of KC BBQ, and i'd put the group against any group of 3 in the country.

So, I get yelled at for this - but I think Joe's is pretty meh. Woodyard and Q39 are amazeballs though

And Ill admit Im probably biased, but Id take a good number of Texas spots before eating at those three.

People in texas think everything there is better. Couple of texans I work with here are convinced that they make the best mexican food too.

When they want mexican they go to On the Border.
