If you think worst bill of our generation is one that expanded access to healthcare for millions of Americans I don't really know what to tell you. That's basically a non starter for reasonable conversation.

You forget that that bill was created by a black, Muslim. In sailor's world, that makes it worse than the plague and Spanish flu combined.

Damn, I thought you knew you couldn't trust any damn Muslim!

I thought it was hugely awesome idea created by a Conservative think tank, and the black, Muslim guy just stole it and broke it.

Of course a black stole it. He was probably wearing a hoody too.

If in doing so it assures the bankruptcy of our country then surely it could be considered the worst bill of our generation.

There is a literal 0% chance that it could possibly "assure the bankruptcy of our country."

If you are going to denigrate a side for hyperbole as it pertains to over-exaggerating the current state of politics then it's fairly disingenuous to make statements like this.

It costs $42 billion a year now in a good economy. What happens during the next economic downturn when people lose their jobs, the # of people needing subsidies skyrockets mixed with a plunge in tax receipts. That number can easily turn into 10% of our federal budget.

There won't be recessions under Trump. We are headed towards 4% economic growth!

That's why I've been saying we should follow Russia's lead and just eliminate term limits, I'm sure Trump will get around to that in year 7.

But in seriousness, this is a pretty terrible law, perhaps the worst of our generation.

When you have a broken system like our healthcare system is, you don't solve the problem by throwing more money at it. We pay 2-3x more for healthcare than anywhere else in the world. What in the bill fixed that? Nothing. In fact it just adds more fuel to the fire.

Have you liberals learned absolutely nothing from the student loan debacle ultimately resulting in Wake costing $200k to attend, or the effects of cheap and easy money on housing just a short while ago? Having the government throw even more money into the broken system will just make things worse, which is evident already to anyone who has to pay for an unsubsidized premium the past 8 years.
