Official Russian Election Interference Thread

i for one have complete confidence in our Commander in Chief to navigate these complex and difficult times

According to former ambassador Michael McFaul, we don't have that many Americans working at the embassy in Russia. Which means they'll likely be firing a lot of Russian employees.

Don't forget, this is the Dems fault. If they had just given the illusion of listening to rust belt voters' desire to be told the things they wanted to hear, we never would have ended up with Trump.

Forgot to add if Bernie didn't provide a fake illusion unrealistically telling rust belt voters and millennials what they wanted to hear, we would have never ended up with trump.

We Are Now in Cold War 2.0

Putin has given up on the White House—and that’s terrible news for Trump

To call Putin’s push-back excessive is charitable. This sends an indelible message to Washington that the Kremlin seeks no parley with America. We are now unquestionably in Cold War 2.0—and perhaps worse. After all, you only shut down the other side’s diplomatic facilities in your country when you’re in an actual war with them. None of this bodes well for peace and international harmony.

That said, the person who ought to be really worried here is Donald Trump. He was elected with clandestine Kremlin help and he regularly hoisted fulsome praise on Vladimir Putin—and now it’s all fallen apart. Only six months into his presidency, Moscow has assessed that Trump is a naif, an incompetent weakling who cannot deliver what Russia needs. He is therefore expendable.

LOL. The Russians will just expand their operations to more Republicans. They won't give up so easily.

Demagogues to the left of me, demagogues to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with Hilldog.

i mean, his judgement and decision making on simple topics like "who should run my white house staff" have been handled with aplomb. nothing to worry about.

It's crazy to me people don't see the similarities in Bernie and Trumps campaign. We let crazy into our election cycle and ended up with Trump. We need to move to move centrist candidates with political positions similar to hillary's (she was a horrible person, but her policies were sound) and not run further to left and right. Do not think it is going to happen though, this country is fucked.

TITCR, and I say that as a Bernie primary voter.

Populism, be it liberal or conservative, is a threat to democracy.

He would be the furthest left president we have ever had. If you are looking at international leaders I think we should be shooting for a Macron over somebody like Trudeau.
