BBall Recruiting Thread 2k18 - Hoard, Mucius, Lewis, and Wright sign NLIs!

I'm hopeful we hear something from Devoe tomorrow. I know Ayo is ranked higher but (1) I'm a huge Devoe fan and (2) I'd be nervous relying on an Ayo commitment when "experts" don't seem to think we're in the driver's seat
 
We have my original 3. Love it. Now to add 1 more. Don't really care which one it is. Laz, Ayo, Devoe... just want one more.
 
Let's really start to trust and support this coaching staff as far as the direction we are going. If think we can see now that we we'll never see a "Harry Giles Experiment" anytime again soon. Our coaches are focused on building quality. This whole thing is about the program vision and the individual players that can fit in. All the hype about recruiting rankings, and stars, isn't nearly as important as the eye test on these recruits AND the players already on the roster. Getting Hoard and Mucius is amazing and hopefully Ayo and Devoe soon. But don't count out the value of Sharone Wright either. I am super excited to see what the 2017-18 version of Sam Mathias and Doral Moore. Danny Manning has them in the fold for a reason and we have seen what he can do to develop big men. We know we have quality with Crawford, Lil Chill, and Woods. And please let's not forget Chaundee, Olivier and Melo....we don't even know how great they're going to be yet! This is an amazing turnaround in 3 years. GO DEACS !
 
Georgia Tech's recent classes/current class isn't very intriguing, and they don't appear to be close with many 2018 prospects. GT is clearly closer, but I think that's a promising sign.
 
If the word is that Devoe is between us and GT, I'd have a hard time understanding why he would pick GT at this point. It's really nice to have so much momentum, and I have complete faith Manning and Crew will continue it.

Our dude Jumpman says that he is hearing that DeVoe will announce prior to Xavier Johnson's (GT PG prospect) visit, which appears to be scheduled for this weekend.
 
I too, have heard that Devoe is set to announce on Thursday. Hoping for the �� commit!

Talked to Mucius' Dad and Childress Saturday. They said he was coming to Wake. Glad it's official.

So excited we are going to be good again!

I imagine this is good for us. It'd be a little strange for Devoe to announce for GT right before Johnson's visit to Atlanta. Also, this allows GT to put the full court press on Johnson if Devoe is not in the picture.
 
I suck at posting pics but Ayo posted on twitter earlier a picture with the Memphis coaches. I really hope he comes to Wake.

I think it is good for us coming so soon after his Wake visit. However, I don't think it would be odd to commit to Tech before his competition for that spot gets a chance to visit.

Memphis came strong with the custom #whynotme t-shirt. Smiles abound. That said Tubby Smith looks old and like he had a stroke.

May have already been discussed, but how many spots does GT have for guards? If not one, totally agree.

Also, as a general question for the board, what's the point of having the "Crystal Ball Prediction?" Looking just at WF's and GT's primary guard prospects "predictions," Ayo is 100% to Illinois, Devoe is 100% to Florida, the guy visiting GT this weekend is 100% to Nebraska and the other one for GT is 100% to Cincinnati, which he is "cool" on and has no offer from.
