Can someone make a video of Byrd's run to the 18 that the umpire then spotted at the 19.5? Was really bizarre. Been a couple like that today, but that one was absurd.

Hinton has actually passed several times today with good success.

I would only offer that it's probably the offensive scheme that's weak, not the playcalling out of it. The reason we call what we call is that it's how the scheme works. Or doesn't work as the case may be.
 
Our D has really played well....if we didn't miss some ridiculous tackles it would've been better.
We were never going to win, but this game should be 6/10 - 14 (our first FG was good...should've had an FG or TD at the end of half if not for dropped balls, Clemson's 4th and 3 was a bad pick that wasn't called that set up their TD)
 
I had no expectations of winning but our offense is not competitive for this level of play. Clawson needs new ideas. These are not working.
 
staff needs to rewatch the drive at the end of the 1st half like 2837974 times. why can't we play like that all the time?
 
Ain't nobody left we play we can't beat if we stay pretty healthy, make some catches and stop being so conservative on playcalls.
 
They scored their 1st two possessions. Since then Deacs have played the #2 team basically even.

And I hate moral victories.

you mean the delayed read option against a faster team is not prudent? :)
 
With sacks/hurries it's been about a 50/50 split on passes and runs today. Clemson is just a lot better than us and Hinton is a "scramble or go deep" QB on a team that can't beat Clemson like that.

Probably a 21-10 game or so with Wolford, but we weren't beating Clemson today without some mistakes early, and that first quarter was pretty much perfect football from them. Nice work by the defense since then but nothing has worked offensively.
 
Special teams coach needs to be fired before they get on the fucking bus!!
 
Incidentally, Clemson isn't nearly as good as their fans think they are. Their signature win against a fraudulent Louisville has been exposed.
 
If I were a special teams coach, I would tell my punt returners to make one move only, then turn on the afterburners. Dancing almost never works.
