Banned for anti-Marxism
It's a novelty to us when a team fires its coach yet still makes a bowl. That would be unheard of here.
That was not a PI.
I didn't think it was either. Blackledge was adamant about it, but coverage was tight and he left his feet playing the ball. Dude wasn't going to catch that ball anyway.
Bands can play on kickoffs. What was the deal with their band playing when someone caught the ball on kickoffs? Is that legal? Never heard it before.
Really surprised by the offensive output by both teams today. Did not expect the game to remotely approach this score. I expected more like a 30s to 20s type game. I went from thinking we were going to get flattened, to thinking aTm was going to get flattened and had lost the will to live, to thinking we had lost the will to live, to finally-- upon seeing the last pass fall incomplete-- thinking we were actually going to win. A very fun game to watch.
Surprised to hear about the sad Aggie turnout. I know they didn't care about this game, but even a lackluster fanbase that travels well should've outnumbered our fans. Regardless, their fans sure sounded louder on TV. We must've filled the stands with a bunch of old donors in sweater vests a la The Joel.
My guess on attendance numbers would be wake-24,000, Texas AM-8,000. Pretty pathetic for a school with 60000 current students
Also sat near Aggie fans. Nice folks. Yell leaders are indeed bizarre. Like watching someone from the 1940’s acting strange and intensely committed to it.That was cold and long and a great time.
Sat in the middle of the A&M section. Decent fans. Yell leaders are weird.
Wake fans were louder and were great on the last drive
