Gave a “Go Deacs” to a guy wearing a black jacket with WF on it when Webb was hitting out of the 15th green side bunker. Was that a poster in here?

I did a similar thing yesterday. Was passing by a guy in a crosswalk and saw his WF hat. I patted him on the shoulder, said Go Deacs and told him my name and class. He smiled and said '2 daughters'.

That was really painful to watch. Several of his approach shots were actually pin high and rolled all the way back to the pond. Didn't seem fair......but was eerily like Tin Cup.
 
yes, but in tin cup he was trying to prove that he could get a 3 wood there. Sergio was hitting a wedge with backspin. Just take another club get on the green and quit trying to get close. what a dumbass.

It wasn't even that he needed an extra club I don't think - it was just that he needed to change his shot type. Hit a knockdown/lower shot with dead hands to take the spin off. Basically exactly what Jordan did on the same hole.

Even his quotes after the round of "I've never made a 13 without missing a shot" pissed me off. Just because you strike a ball solid and hit it straight doesn't mean you didn't miss the shot.
 
i'm not good enough at golf to do that, but yes, presumably he's capable of playing multiple shots. for sure he was proving that informal definition of insanity: doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.

No it was nothing like Tin Cup. It was like watching a racist brat get what he deserved. Sergio is probably the worst human on tour, watching him melt down almost made up for the fact he won last year.

People want to think Sergio has changed, he hasn't. That quote right there is some VINTAGE Sergio, it is always somebody else's fault, never his. It really pisses me off he won a major.
